We are Penguin Media Hire.
We exist to provide you better technical production for your events.
Creative, dynamic, driven, agile.

We believe in the power of collaboration and we say yes to anything (within reason!). We’ve got an incredible team with diverse skillsets and backgrounds; each member brings something different to the table while also retaining our ethos and values. We’re tight as a team and agile with our work – but it’s not all about us!

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do.  They will always have someone on hand who understands their needs, has empathy for what they’re trying to achieve, and can offer advice where needed.

Audio
We believe in providing great sound for all. Every customer, every seat in the room. We’re a Martin Audio rental house, with solutions to cover every event, with the same superb quality. Nobody goes home singing the lights!
Lighting
… or do they? Comprehensive industry standard stock, with creative designers who know how to get the best from a fixture. It’s the lights and what they can see that’ll have them snapping you for the ‘gram.
Video
Screens, projection, LED video walls, the relevant rigging, switchers, cameras, media servers, playback, ACTION! Our video team are at the pinnacle of the industry, we work with the best because our clients deserve it.
Power
We use a range of power sources (solar, battery, generators, grid), power distribution and cabling, to safely and reliably run your event, with qualified engineers to certify it. We LOVE BS7909, so you don’t have to.
Staging
DJ tables, drum risers, accessibility platforms, up to festival stages. Don’t be upStaged.
Technicians
What good is all this kit, if it’s not driven right? Martin Audio MLA M-Tech’s, lighting operators, electricians, crew – all cogs in the event machine.
Infrastructure
Make sure you’re CDM compliant! Welfare facilities, barriers, fencing, tables, chairs, fire extinguishers, bean to cup coffee machines, even the flightcased kitchen sink. (Yes, we’ve got them).
