Penguin Media Hire were delighted to be specialist power contractor for Brighton’s Big Screen – an event laid on to show the London 2012 Olympic Games – plus the odd blockbuster film or two!
It was the UK’s largest outdoor cinema – attracting many thousands of people. Careful consideration was taken to provide a tailored solution in conjunction with the LED video screen suppliers, as specialist distribution was needed – the video walls require a variable residual current device for example.

All power and lighting was supplied, including lighting and power for the bars, food stalls, production cabins and technical areas. Once again, we are proud to say that after careful system design, not one power outage was experienced.
